Who is Madame FH
Madame FH is a partnership between French florist Florine Dauendorffer (F) and Australian composer Hugh Ronzani (H). Florine and Hugh share a love of natural form and art. The beauty they find in nature inspires their work, helping to inform their creative impulses and develop unique decorations and designs.
At Madame FH we pride ourselves on producing beautiful and unique floral arrangements for each of our clients. To help achieve this, we choose to support Australian growers.

Florine spent most of her childhood outside in the garden. Under sun, rain or snow, she found pleasure observing the plants, flowers and animal life in the French countryside.
Whilst studying landscape design in Normandy, Florine discovered her real passion was for using flowers and working with her hands rather than computers. She moved to Paris to study at "l'Ecole des Fleuristes de Paris" where she was able to work with numerous "Meilleurs Ouvriers de France" including Muriel Le Couls and Gilles Pothier (World Champion florist). Florine spent four years decorating for prestigious clients like the Louvre Museum and the Rothschilds, as well as many well known Parisian fashion boutiques, hotels, banks, media companies, "brasseries", restaurants, and nightclubs (such as Christian Louboutin and Chez Castel).
After meeting Hugh, the chance to fulfil her desire to work overseas and broaden her artistic horizons presented itself. The young couple moved to London where Florine's talent was immediately recognized. She decorated for other famous clients like Lord's (the Home of Cricket) and Princess Anne. Her style also evolved as she incorporated more of the English colours and flair into her wedding and event designs.
Now for Florine it will be a new adventure with Madame FH, bringing a European touch to quality Australian flowers.

Growing up in Sydney, Hugh started singing in choirs at a young age. His love of music (especially choral music) continued to grow throughout his schooling and was only matched by his interest in European languages.
Having previously spent five months on exchange in France when he was fifteen, Hugh returned to Paris in 2008 after completing undergraduate studies in composition at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. He found work there as an English teacher and continued to improve on his French whilst discovering more of Europe. During this time he met Florine who stirred his interest in flowers and nature.
When he received a scholarship from the Worshipful Company of Musicians to study at the Royal College of Music, London, Hugh moved with Florine to the English capital where they were both delighted by the cultural and artistic variety. The fresh way-of-life there helped to inspire Hugh to write a number of works, including his "Alma Redemptoris Mater" (commissioned by Paul Dyer, Artistic Director of the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra and Choir), and "Job's Confidence" (commissioned by the BBC Singers).
Ready to develop his musical and professional career in Sydney, Hugh sees himself in yet another role as Owner & Manager of Operations of Madame FH, sharing his creative passion with Florine.
